Set 1 is probably the best out of the two. With option 2 range/2h'ing is an uneffective method as well as melee'ing, so you're best bet would be to just range which, by itself, makes it more difficult to get a K0. Set 1 gives you the benefits of 99 strength, mage, and range (as well as some extra prayer levels to increase your longivity), which makes range/2h'ing and melee'ing both excellent choices. Your defence and attack are already decent, so you won't get as often as you would with say 40 defence. r4ngei0wn
But with the new pvp coming out and 90 def wouldn't it be better with option 2? I wouldn't really need the 2h (have you seen jpogo1 pk?)
bongo_man
But with the new pvp coming out and 90 def wouldn't it be better with option 2? I wouldn't really need the 2h (have you seen jpogo1 pk?) It doesn't really matter if it's the new PvP, the old PvP or the current one, if you choose to only range your opponents you shouldn't expect too many KO's to come your way. The thing is that with a 2h you have a much better chance of killing your opponent due to the high hits it delivers. Well I've watched one of his videos, and yes they are good, but just because he gets PK's without the use of a 2H doesn't necessarily mean that you will too. I could link you to any of the thousands of Range/2H videos out there and show you how effective the style is, but that wouldn't do anything for you. It's ultimately your decision, but I'm just saying that Range/2H reaps more benefits than range alone, and this is coming from someone who has experimented with both.
