I've never hunted before, so I'm really new to this skill. I've gotten 38 from tears of Guthix minigame, and I figure it's time to raise this skill. I've read the tip.it site and to be honest, the hunting guide isn't all that great.

 

 

 

Basically, what should I level on, and what's the equipment I need, and simply put, what do I do?

 

Not too fussed about making that much profit, to be honest, I'd just like a fairly decent experience rate.

im only lvl 27 but a good way is buy a bird snare and find out the best bird u can hunt is type the name into google then go to that place and find that bird flying around and set ur trap

I'm going to do ferrets, seems to be a pretty quick way.

 

 

 

More help would be appreciated for the higher levels, however. I understand it's red chins - 99 as soon as you can do them , but until then?

Actually, from 53-about 80/75 do normal chins. Then red salamanders from 75/80-85. Then you are ready for the long hard levels of red chins.

I love to deadfall [puncture]ly kebbits and make kebbit bolts for my hunter's crossbow. I smoke the trap but don't use bait, and they practically run into my trap (I wear full larupia). I also put up a bird snare or two and collect feathers, and raw bird meat (for summoning terrorbirds) if I feel like banking the meat. If not, I can stay there for hours without banking.

do eagles peak it unlocks a ridiculously good reward

 

once you finish it bring 3 box traps and 2 rabbit snares

 

catch about 5 or 6 ferrets

 

then set up rabbit snares just north of eagles peak at the rabbit burrow thingys

 

 

 

theres a set up of 1 thats in the middle on the west and 1 north and south of it

 

ignore the other 3 to the east

 

set up a snare infront of the north and south ones

 

then click on the western one and keep flushing the rabbits till both traps are either have a rabbit in each or they both get knocked over

 

pick up and reset the snares dropping the rabbit foot, meat and burying the bones

 

rinse and repeat till desired lvl
