Currently my main account doesn't have members and for the hell of it I decided to make a random character.

 

 

 

So right now all i have on this character is just the tutorial done, so its a completely clean slate that I was hoping to mold with the help of you friendly people.

 

 

 

So what are some of the ideal stats for a low crater BH pure.

 

 

 

Also is it worth it trying to create a pure for the Mid crater? And if so what would be the ideal stats for that kind of pure?

You shouldn't focus on creating a pure for the low-crater/mid-crater, because we all know that BH (aka BS) won't last much longer. It really depends on what type of pure you want to be, if you can give me a little more info as to what you're planning to do with your character then maybe I can help you out.

Well you should probably use the Range/2H method until you're in the low 60's in terms of combat level, by then you should have around 83 strength and range, setting you up to be a formidable rune pure. It's good too because if you decide to go P2P you'll be able to choose between the range/mage (assuming you plan to get 82/94+ mage), melee/range, or melee/mage. If you want to do one of those three tell me and I can give you some goals to set out for. Whatever you do just remember that you're not binded by level restrictions anymore, we're finally free :D (again...)

Well then you should aim for these short term goals while you wait for the new PvP to take effect:

 

 

 

40 Attack

 

60 Strength

 

1 Defence

 

63 Range

 

~57 HP

 

1 Prayer

 

x Mage

 

 

 

Combat Level - 47

 

 

 

From that point focus on getting 70 range and strength, while keeping your strength higher than your range since the 2H will be your K0 weapon.

And don't worry about mage, it doesn't affect your combat level like it used to. Use the combat calculator to make sure you're not getting too many mage levels, otherwise it'll make you magic based.

I think Ill just keep with that until the new wild comes. Although I think pures as we know them will change because of this new PvP update.
