alright im buying a new PC game and the reqiurements incude a 16-bit direct x 9.0a compatible sound card and some such video card. How can i check to see what kind of sound/video card i have installed in the computer so i can run the game? thanks in advance for your help

control panel->system->device manager(under hardware tab in xp)

 

 

 

You can find your vid card under display adapters. Sound is probably onboard but you can check under sounds, vid, and game controllers.
