f2p Range Tank advice?

Featured Replies

I'd like to make a low level Range Tank for F2p, I have a new character with default stats so any setup that you think will work would be helpful.

Do you plan on being pure range? Or are you going to incorporate strength? If so just get your defence to 40, and keep your range and strength the same levels. You should also get 44 prayer for Hawk Eye, Protection prayers and Ultimate Strength.

If you plan on just using range, then keep your strength as low as possible, but high enough so that you can use it to train defence. At 33 Defence, you should complete Dragon Slayer to boost you to 40 (you'll be a few 100XP points off 40, but you can easily gain those in a matter of minutes). Get 44 Prayer for Hawk Eye and Protection prayers, and you should also raise your defence as you get into the higher range levels.
