Ok, ive played around with the gimp abit, and know the basics. I posted my first sig, and got some construcive critism. Thing is, I have no idea how to do anything which they listed...soooo...

 

 

 

I have downloaded and saved (in a file) a font from dafont.com...How do i use it?

 

How do I blend my render in better? I usually use a gaussian blur.

 

How do these people make these backgrounds?! They're awesome, do they just smudge it?

Put the file (if its a zip, unzip it to) your windows/font folder. Then you can use it.

That shouldn't matter. It's stickied for a reason; it will stay at the top of the page and it really is the only place to post your questions.

Regardless, i'm afraid you can't simply exempt yourself from the rules when you feel like it. Please repost this in the sticky and i'm sure your question will be answered soon enough.
