WHen i try to climb the rocks in my avansie gear ( with climbing boots) it says ' thats to dangerous, i need a reason to go there'. WHy is this happening and how can i get to the gwd/ or how can i solve this

to get to the gwd area you need to of done troll stronghold, as this opens up access to the stronghold area whihc leads to gwd.

 

 

 

Equally its recommend to do eadgars ruse as well to gain trollheim teleport

All the guides say only death plateau is needed...

 

 

 

Edit: ill just do it as its a short quest, i guess ill get to avansies tommorow...

Don't know what guides you been reading but you need troll stronghold.

 

 

 

Death plateau gives you access to the "secret" path on the way round to the plateau

 

Troll Stronghold allows you to climb over the rocks that lead north from this path and make your way into the northern troll areas
