First make sure you get some decent money maker (ranged-aviansees-, melee combat-bosses-, runecrafting -91+-, fishing -sharks-, wc -cursed magics-) before going to spent money on drains like magic, construction summoning etc.. But if you really insist: the only "good" ways to train magic are actually non combat magic: other monsters are much easier to fight and in the speed gain you get you can get more xp by high alching!
