What is good armor against melee that is NOT barrows. I do not want to spend the money to repair it so i am looking for something that i can buy and it will give me better defence than rune.

What kind of things would you be training on?

 

 

 

As a good set up would be:

 

 

 

Niezinot/Berserker helm

 

Torag's Platebody

 

Torag's Platelegs

 

Dragon Gauntlets

 

Dragon Boots

 

Obsidian Cape

 

 

 

The Barrows plate and legs only add up to about 200k every 15 hours, so if you make at least 17k/hour, you won't lose any money. Plus Torag's gives the best defense bonus out of all the sets.

Well, currently i am using torags body and legs.

 

i am also doing slayer while i lvl str

Stick with those two pieces, best cheap defense.

 

 

 

For Slayer: Black Mask/Torags Plate/Torags Legs/Fury/Barrows Gloves/Dragon Boots/Obsidian Cape/Whip/Rune Defender.
