Reviews from media aren't an effective way of measuring game excellence (or lack thereof), they don't talk about the media, the balance or other obvious game issues. BO got tons of praise, look how much hate it gets from users. I'm still probably not going to buy it; I'd rather play Halo or something if I wanted to play a futuristic game. I meant from players in general, not IGN or w/e. But yeah for futuristic i'll stick with Crysis.

Unless it gets glowing reviews, I wasn't planning on buying another Treyarch CoD anyway.

It's well documented Treyarch games have terrible hit detection. Your issue with MW3 is probably due to the whole compensation stuff, CoD4 and MW2's hit detection however was next to flawless.

Hmm, that doesn't make sense. You should have had it full about 2/3 through the game if you are doing everything. Then if you play multiplayer and get up to 100% it should be about 1/3 of the way through the game to get the bar full. The difference between MW2 and Black Ops was that it was some players who made MW2 shit, Black Ops was just shit pre-packed. and how else would the players of made it shit if the game wasn't designed that way? just because it took a few heads together to figure out how to completely annihilate the game does not mean it wasn't shit before it was played. mw2 had potential to be the best cod ever created, unfortunately IW has a giant thumb up their ass and do nothing with their games/add retarded shit from the start btw patched the javelin glitch guys its death streak now!!! Because it took someone a few minutes and perk combinations to totally destroy the game that it was "good" pre packed? The perks and the whole idea of it was still there before it was abused. If ghost and the famas weren't used for 3 months would that of made black ops fun to play? I'm at the cerberus part, there was an option to stay back or go into the mission so I assumed i'd finish getting the assets first, i'm literally so close to filling it fully green and have scanned everywhere 100% and done all side quests, looked at a guide and that's the place I couldn't find on my map. I think it opens up after the Tuchanka missions. Should be in the Attican Traverse, north/northwest corner of the galaxy map (north of Citadel). I'm right near the end of the game now, i'll have a look when I go on next, thanks.

If you play TDM or groundwar you're bound to get campers, but I mostly play Demolition now since most people tend to go towards the bombs, so there's very few campers most of the time. I feel you on the last stand issue though, it should be just completely out of the game. Some info about Black Ops 2 was leaked recently and it was stated that there will be no last stand (of any form), and no death streaks. So hopefully that will end some of this madness. It's a Treyarch game though so they'll find some way to still make it shit. treyarch has made the only good cods since cod4 :P Remember Black Ops?
