Hey. I need to get the ice gloves for desert treasure but i have a few questions.

 

First of all, does the hero's quest need to be started in order to kill the ice queen for the gloves?

 

Secondly, do all the requirements have to be met in order to start hero's quest?

 

Also, is 50 mining required to reach the ice queen?

Not sure about mining, but you can just kill her for the gloves without Heroes.

Yes, the requirement for 50 mining is, unfortunately, required to mine through rocks that are blocking the queen. As for killing the queen, you do not need to do Heroes to kill her.

50 mining is required, but I think when I did it I used a dwarven stout.

The 50 mining should only be a current level reqirement. I can only think of a few times when you need the base level for just an act reqiring skill. When npcs have reqirements though (to start quests), often you must have the base level.

50 Mining definately is a requirement (i know from being 1 mining and trying to get gloves). You can't require assistance i tried it. If you have over 60 mage it would be sufficient enough just to mage the dt boss. You don't need gloves for maging.
