September 24, 200817 yr A long time ago, I did one Fight Caves attempt with crappy gear and a bone crossbow. I got to Jad and messed up on the prayers. Is Void an option? What range ammo should I use to maximize speed (without spending billions)? I've heard of using a SGS. Assuming I could find a lender, how would I use it effectively? Is a Verac helm, Karil top, and Verac skirt still efficient? Should I invest in Armadyl? Any other modern tips or tricks I should know? Thanks! EDIT: Also, totally unrelated, are the penguin points any good for some extra experience? I'm not going to go searching for them, but I've seen at least four penguins while slaying, and I haven't been able to spy on them. I'm wondering if I should take the time to start collecting them when I spot a penguin. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
September 24, 200817 yr directed @ your second question: penguin points give you 25X the base lvl of the skill you use them on. They are used all at once and you can keep up to a maximum of 50. If you randomly see a penguin why not spy on it? you dont have to have the book to do it

That's a good amount of extra experience! To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
September 24, 200817 yr Just so you know you do have to speak to larry in the zoo before you can start spying on the penguins. He will give you the book after which you can just bank it. All the book does is tell you how many points you currently have.
September 25, 200817 yr about fight caves. void is usefull, but it will result in constant praying. I would use either broad or diamond e bolts, they hit well :) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
