Drop rates

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if drop rates are player based or monster based on this game?

Recently i have been playing a few games which are player based drop rates so im just curious as to how drops work on runescape.

Feels like a bit of a waste of time constantly killing a certain monster if everytime you log in you still only have (for example) a 1/1000 chance to get a dragon item.

dragon drops: 49 skirts, 42 legs, 3 left half shields, 2 dragon chains. 11 dragon medium helms

I believe its based on the monster, when you kill a monster, you have a x/x chance of getting it.

Like elixirs i hear are 1/450 or something like that.
