Mining and Scorpion question

I'm training mining right now and the dwarf mine is my favorite..well, except for the scorps. I notice that some of the higher combat level players (I'm lvl 26, lol, these player's levels show up red) don't get attacked by the regular scorps. Some players that are combat level 55+ seem to not be attacked by the King Scorpions as well. The scorps are annoying (but beatable) and I cant even fight the Kings.

 

 

 

Is there some kind of level limit for aggressive monsters? if so, what level should I train to before I venture again into the scorpion infested region of the Dwarven or Chasm mines? I also like Chasm, but I have to hide behind these two iron rocks that half the other miners like to mine and hide behind too because of the regular scorps!

 

 

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

 

 

I'm 21 attack, 23 strength, 20 defense, 22 health 39 mining.

forgot to mention I'm f2p. I know members is better, but my budget just doesn't allow. college and such :)

some monsters stop being agressive to you when you are twice their level +1. I am not sure if this applies to all monsters or not

 

 

 

IE on members wild dogs level 53 arent agressive to level 127s but they agressive to 126s as an example

Regular scorpions stop attacking when you are combat level 29 or higher. King scorpions stop attacking when you're level 65 or higher.

I believe that the combat level needed would be 29 (Formula: Monster=m; m(2)+1)

 

So a scorpion is combat level 14, so 14(2) is 28, + 1 is 29 :thumbsup:
