defender of varrock: short overview

This is not a real guide (I'm to lazy to post pics and stuff)

I also like to thank Walthir for his help during the quest.

Any suggestions/comments/... are welcome

[hide=part 1]*talk to Rovan at the top of the north-west tower of varrock palace.

*Now tele to clanwars, the scout will follow

*go to the nearby graveyard and talk to the scout

*there appear tracks[/hide]

[hide=second part]*Follow the tracks just like tracking creatures for hunt (remember those boring polar kebbits?)

*one of the trees south of the portal hides a key

*the tracks take a lot of curves till eventually stopping at the chaosaltar

*use the key at the trapdoor next to the altar[/hide]

[hide=part 3]*go down the trapdoor and walk to the first turn in the corrider

*listen at the balcony

*take 3 empty bottles

*kill 3 zombies and use the bottles with the red mist

*now you can walk freely threw the door

*cutscene; kill 3 more zombies

*go threw next door and listen at other balcony

*you get a varrock teletab from the scout

*talk to Captain Rovan[/hide]

[hide=part 4]*go to the dwarf (fairy rin AIQ)

*mine a piece of blurite

*take out sextant, watch, map, spade and lightsource (and blurite)

*go to ice mountain (monastery or fally is closeby)

*use tipit coördinates locater of treasure trail guide (location should be next to the tree southwest of oracle's tent)

*talk to the dwarf, use blurite on furnace, talk again, cutscene[/hide]

[hide=part 5]*go to Captain Rovan again (run past the zombies)

*he gives you the shield

*go talk to reldo in the library

*search the scrolls on the floor next to the table

*read the big book at the northside of the room

*the heir of the founder is Dimintheis (the dude of family crest). He ain't on the list, but if you talk to horvik, you'll find out that horvik was adopted into the family and Dimintheis had a female ancestor of that line

*talk to Dimintheis for a nice cutscene and talk to Roval for your reawrd[/hide]
