Thieving and general skills question

I am starting fresh in members again (New character! Fun!) I was thinking about taking up thieving, since it seems to make decent money and requires no startup cash to train.

 

 

 

Is thieving a good new member skill, or should I train something else? Preferably a skill that makes money.

 

Please do not suggest Hunter; I trained that on my other character, Sandhill5, and honestly I am tired of the jerks that purposely place box traps on top of yours so that you can't pick yours up -.-

There's more than one way to hunt, you know? :)

 

 

 

Anyway thieving is pretty good, but if its a non-skiller account you can pretty easily make money killing men and women (if its low level), and getting up range at the same time. Although thieving doesnt become good for money until like 15, then its not that good anyway.

 

 

 

You should get all combat to 20 (if you havent) then start slayer imo. :mrgreen:
