Problems connecting Motorola KRZR K1 to computer

I'm having a little trouble connecting my KRZR mobile phone up to my computer. I have followed the instructions and downloaded the correct drivers off the Motorola website, and when I connect my phone up to the computer it appears as Removable disk (F:). However, when I click on it I get the error message "Please insert a disk into drive F:".

I am confused as to why this is happening. My computer normally connects up to usb sticks and my brothers iPod fine. The only other issue I have which might be related to this is that I have a 'ghost' G: drive. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Many thanks :)

I didn't get any software with the phone :/ The manual just said to switch usb settings to 'memory card' mode and the drivers should install themselves. That gave me said problem, and downloading official drivers off motorola's website hasn't helped.

Anyway, I'm going to contact Motorola support. Thanks anyway though.
