I believe the KB says it's 30 minutes equipped, so that means if it's in your bank/invent/GE collection box it won't count toward the 30 minutes.

 

 

 

If you have money to spare, and the weapons can be used outside of PvP worlds, the Corrupt D scimmy MIGHT be very useful. (But then again that's paying 200k for only about 10-15k extra xp/hour.)
