Sand_Hill Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I was just perusing oceanstides' guide, "...A Skiller's Life", and read this passage about fire runecrafting: Crafting fires nets approximately 30k experience an hour...[at] roughly 100 trips per hour. Loss is CAPPED at 8 million [getting from levels 54 to 91] using this method, including cost of dueling rings, super energies and essence. Two questions: 1. Does this still hold true today? This guide was written quite a while ago, and I'm sure price rates have changed, but it is hard for me to figure out exactly what the loss range is. I realized that since I have a little over 8m to spend, this seems perfect for me. 2. Would this be a worthwhile investment? EDIT: I calc'ed out what I think it would cost. I subtracted the sale of fire runes I produced from the cost of rune essence. 54-70 (70 is triple fires): 83,659 fire runes made; -1,840,498gp after selling fires 70-91 (91 is double natures):737,887 fire runes made; -2,951,548 after selling fires Sound about right? I also only wear red dragonhide. Is there something better I can wear that won't slow me down too much and will give me good protection?
