I just hit 79 firemaking, but I don't plan on grinding to 92/94/99 etc. Would it be worth my while to get the Flame Gloves and Ring of Fire for future firemaking? I've seen somewhere it's not worth the time/cost but I'm just wondering for sure.

I'm working my way towards the upper firemaking levels too, and I'm grabbing them. I don't grind seriously, but if I choose to go buy a couple thousand logs and burn them, an extra 5% exp is definitely worth it. Also, the minigame isn't too hard and you get more firemaking exp for lighting the beacons as well!
