True, but that would put a dent on your pocket, not to mention having to carry 3 less inventory for runes.

 

 

 

Flash Running: first find out how much you kg cost an energy point and then use some delay activities that requires animation (superheating, alching, etc) to increase the speed while reducing the energy cost to around 1-2 points. When you flag the destination point near the edge of the mini-map and then use superheat bar spell, your character will pause to cast the spell and then he will run for half-way before walking (even faster if he was running). But take note: casting superheat causes only 3sec delays and walking half-way to the edge requires about 8 secs, making a total of 11secs; however, using delay running, you be about 4-5 secs faster than walking, thus taking only 6-7secs.

So then wouldn't the best option be to teleport to varrock with a fire staff then alch to flash run back?

well, if you are willing to lose 3 inventory spaces and gp and time for teleport, then go ahead.

 

 

 

1K Iron / 28 Inventory Space = 37 rounded trips (assuming you will get gems)

 

If you buy all coals, superheat bars, and mine all irons: 38k profit every two hours

 

 

 

1K Iron / 25 Inventory Space (assuming you will bring law, air, and a pick/staff) = 41 rounded trips (assuming you will get gems)

 

If you buy all coals, get all runes for teleport and superheat, and mine all irons: 23.2k profit every 2.5 hours
