i heard that every time you log off your clue scroll resets and you are no closer to finding the treasure, is it true?

wrong, even your puzzle stays the same.

 

 

 

The Clue Scroll never resets when you log off.

 

The Puzzle, however, does reset. Whenever I get stuck on a puzzle, I log off and log back in to go at it again.

Mhm, the clue itself doesn't reset, but any progress made on a puzzle box will be erased.
