about how many could I expect to use if I cannon dags, kalphites, and the like? I want to know if it would be worth picking up a cannon sometime.

It's 100% worth it, although the amount of cballs you will use varies too much to be accurately predicted.

I just want a ballpark here. 10k, 100k, whatever you think.

Mm, well you technically could cannon almost EVERY task, if you do that, something like 100-200k? If you only cannon multicombat ones (like bloodvelds, dags, and ab specs) you'll need less than 100k. You'll use about 900-1k average per multicombat cannon task, less if it isn't multicombat.

If you make 400k or less per hour, a cannon isn't worth it except for bloodvelds, which are BARELY. See 'slayer sucks' for more details, if you want to read though the 800+ pages of replies, including 300+ of my own. No one to argue against now, though :wall:

yea yea, I know about the whole slayer sucks thing. I don't care it's the only skill for me that doesn't get boring. I'd probably only cannon dags, kalphites, and bloodvelds since I'd prefer the melee xp (and those are the only real good cannon tasks i have unblocked)

It's at least 400k for all tasks besides blodvields, some of them far over 400k. That means that if you make less then 400k per hour, it will take more time to make up the money spent using a cannon then it will save, slowing your XP rates. I really don't know how many c balls you would use, though. I go through maybe 1.6k per task for dags an 1.3k per kalphites (very rough)

abberants you break even all the time. always cannon them

 

 

 

Dags you save about 30 minutes+ with cannon at the cost of 200k. its definately worth cannoning them though. you get some of the cash back usually anyways, usually a few seeds/

 

 

 

Kalphites arent worth it imo, to slow on respawns, velds are worth it.

I don't know what your talking about. My last task of 199 blodvields used almost 2k, and my daggy tasks are usually close.

ill rarely hit 1500 cballs on 199 dags, are you using a combat familar?

Neither I, I do 170-ish dags within 1k cballs. I've never been to mutated bloodvelds, but I can say that for Kalphites it's always been less than 1k.
