Question about a character by the name of: Samael Leynes

Samael Leynes...who is he? i was reading the article of the week and i read the author name and it triggerd something in my mind. I'm almost 100% positive ive seen him somwere or in a quest. If anyone knows about him can you please refresh my mind?

Samael Leynes is the author of Conversations with a Mage, a book that concerns Samael's interview with a wizard that had lived prior to the discovery of runes. He seems to have lived in Misthalin, perhaps Varrock.

 

 

 

Samael does not appear in-game, but is noted on an extract of his book in the Lores and Histories section.
