You might need to bring waterskins (also bring a knife to slash cactus with) or Enchanted Water tiara. Just because you WILL accidentally use some early, at least, i always do. Theyre easy to find: look on your world map, in the desert. It's marked "lizards". Well i said that because you don't really need good armour, if desert lizards are a challenge for you then i guess you could.... But you're gonna be running around a LOT.
