im doing the bookcase part and was wondering about the statue scenario

 

 

 

my weight at the moment is -1kg

 

 

 

the thermometer is reading 6 tickits, according to the guide i need to minus the tickit value from my weight. that means i need to put -7kg on the statue. i dont see how this is possible

 

 

 

do i just put 7kgs on?

Take off all of your equipment and read your weight again.

I believe the thermometer shows what your weight was when you came in the door. If you'll look closely you'll see a message about some part of the floor sinking as you enter the room.

 

 

 

If you take nothing out of the room, then your weight matches and you can leave. It's like an egghead burglar alarm to protect his stockpile of logs and coal. If you pick stuff up, you have to put weight on the statue to match what you are taking.

 

 

 

Statue weights + thermometer reading = your actual weight when you try to leave

 

 

 

If you actually got lighter while inside, then I am guessing you should pick up 7kg of weights to make yourself heavier and then leave.
