If I recall correctly, you have to talk to him about repairing pouches, and the option comes up after that.

i dont even have an option for that =[

I think you have to talk to him for a while and it comes up as a choice during the dialogue. I did this for my giant pouch and it seemed to take a lot of talking / going through every option to find the right one, but it is in there somewhere.

The option is hiding under layers and layers of long dialogue. Just keep searching and try all the options. :)

You CANNOT buy large pouches from him unless you have had one PREVIOUSLY.

 

 

 

The only way to get a large pouch to begin with, is to kill monsters in the abyss.

How do I know this? Because I had the same dilemma.
