Verac's Staking/Boxing?

I currently have a defence pure come skiller who I'd like to turn into a decent PK-er or Staker.

 

Unfortunately, I already have 40 Defence [without Dragon Slayer] so I can't be a F2P Rune Pure.

 

 

 

My immediate thought was Boxing or Verac Staking, both of which require a high defence and low strength level. Is this a viable option for duel tournaments [either boxing and/or Veracing]?

 

 

 

In term of Stats, I was thinking along the lines of:

 

 

 

Attack: 70 +

 

Strength: 25

 

Defence: 70

 

Prayer: 1

 

Magic: 45 [for Teleportation]

 

Range: [?]

 

Hitpoints: C. 65
