Wildy Kill Counter.....

Recommended Posts

Yeah even though its a good sound idea, I wouldn't like it that much in the game because of mates just killing each other to get their counts up  ...Its just another way in which runescape can be more chaotic.

i like the idea. maybe put the count next to your combat lvl? that way everyone could see your kills.

Yeah, that sounds like a good place to put it. What do you guys think about also having a number of deaths? So...

Noob3234 (Lvl-37) (12) (3)...means he's killed 12 and been killed 3 times.

Maybe a Kill to Death ratio?

I think thats what Ivan meant.

So say you have 2 kills and 1 death in the wildy your score will be 2.

If you have 2 deaths and 1 kill your score will be 0.5.

if you have 2 kills and 1 death, your score will be 2-1 = 1

if you have 1 kill and 2 deaths, your score will be 1-2 = -1

and what (i think) fullspec meant was:

if you have 2 kills and 1 death, your score will be 2/1 = 2

if you have 1 kill and 2 deaths, your score will be 1/2 = 0.5

I would like maybe a rank, that reset every say, 5 minutes? that you are out of the wild.

And i also like the "unique" kills idea. But im not sure if it would be hard to implement.

I'm fine if the rank resets, but every 5 minutes seems too fast. Every 15-20?

Yep that is what i meant, thanks :)

Also I wouldn't have thought rank resets would be a good idea, but if they were then longer than what you guys are saying... a day or so maybe?

Fine by me. That seems like a good measure of time, actually. If someone has racked up 20 kills in a day, look out.

That does bring up another question, tho. Should turning on such a counter be optional? I'm sure many PKers rely on decpetion, i.e. "hey man, I won't attack you, I'm just training." That seems a lot less convincing if the other player can see they've killed 15 people that day :)

I don't PK, but I'm looking out for the PKers. Why, I have no idea :)

Just re-read the thread and it was sort of a mixed response..some thought counter shown to everyone, others thought just to yourself.

I personally would like it to be a private thing. Not so that PKers can trick people because that's low ;)

More so that you can set personal goals etc. and hopefully it will be less of a competition...however people will always screenshot theirs and then brag :/

I agree, I would say private is the way to go. And PKers do trick people, despite it being "low." :)

This would be a nice addition, It would be cool if there was like a daily scoreboard of the most pks, or even a hi scores for the most pks although it didnt actually contribute any lvls or move yu up ranks, just there too see how ppl have got on.
