Im thinking about getting my crafting up a bit now. The problem i had before is that it took so long, coz me tonnes and got me practically nowhere.

sapph/emerald brace used to give me a small profit a couple weeks ago. Check the ge for prices yourself if it still does, not the fastest but you lose nothing(since you gain) and it's decent exp.
