i did these quests at 54 attack(One Small Favor) and 34 range(Zogre Flesh Eaters) and found that if you take too long to kill the boss monsters in either of these quests they will "get bored" and vanish which means you will have to try and kill them all over again.

 

it is possible to kill them at this level

 

However you will need at least black brutal arrows and a few Relicym's balm(the disease lowers your range level) to kill Slash Bash

 

Gadderhammer(a reward from In Aid Of The Myreque) works nicely against Slagilith if you also drink a super attack pot

It's quite possible that ALL boss monsters will "get bored" and leave.

 

 

 

Koschei the Deathless (Fremennik Trials) walked out on me THREE TIMES because I was using prayer while trying to kill him in his fourth form (so that was twelve fights total, lol). I believe the magic number is somewhere between 16 and 20 minutes!

 

 

 

Techniques for low levelled players to take on high levelled quests and bosses would probably fill a book. (I know of many pures who did Desert Treasure with lots of support from their clan mates, back in the old days.) If someone wanted to write up some good methods (a lot of them, not just 1-2) in the Player Made Guides forum, we would definitely be interested.
