Can anyone give me any advice on wot levels and armour i should use for general Gaardor in a party of 2 or 3?

Well from my experience, i always wear high range defence, but i have 99 mage, so if you dont i'd suggest karils top, verac skirt for the extra prayer bonus, d boots, barrows gloves, neit helm, ROL/ROW, the best cape you have. Just make sure you have a high range/mage def bonus.

 

 

 

Take a godsword if you can, BGS/AGS work well for the high hit specials, SGS for the 1/2 HP 1/4 Prayer restoration.

 

 

 

Best to have good combat stats of around 85+

90+ in the melee stats. I would suggest a good armour such as torag for the cheap end or bandos armour for the higher end players. If your going to tank you need guthans and GS is not required for tanking but if you want to attack for a 2-3 man team you need a GS any type will do try to avoid zgs though.
