Well after returning to the game after a few year break, and have made money again, I decided to try out PvP worlds. And I loved them! :thumbsup:

 

 

 

Now I've been pking all day in full rune. Part of the day I was using a scimitar and the other part a battle-axe. Now my first question is everyone says scimitars are better because they are faster and accurate. But my battle axe was the only thing that could kill somebody else who was actually in armor. So which is really better? Or should I try to weaken them down with the scimitar and switch over to a two hander for a finish?

 

 

 

Secondly how can I finish off runners? They always get away to a ladder or something and log after I chase them up and down like 20 times.

 

 

 

Finally can somebody explain the drop system thing more clearly. I had a full addy kill today but I only got the kite and a bunch of mith stuff.

The best dps(damage per second) in f2p is without a doubt ranged(if their wearing armor). However, i do see that your ranged level is a headbanger, so that might not work. If however, your willing to work and train your ranged to 80+ you'll see that you'll be alot more effect at pking. ALOT! If you are using eagle eye with 80+ ranged you can hit 16+ with addy arrows, which are very fast and alot more accurate than an r scim on rune armor. Then when you want a K0, just switch over to R2h(with 70+ str) and you should get a good k0 at least 10% of the time. This may seem like a low percentage, but when your switching 5+ times a match, it really isn't. Ranged is also the best skill in bounty hunter, so if you get tired of pking worlds, you can go to bounty hunter, although you'll be in the med level crater, so you'll have to raise ur stats dramatically.
