Ledusskapis
Ah, i reinstalled windows (from windows vista to xp sp3), and i can't manage to get a working sound card driver. I have Asus z53s. I suppose i should use Realtek HD audio driver, yet it fails to work-i have downloaded it from different sources yet all of them fail to install. Also here is some info on my sound card: Device ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_284B&SUBSYS_13391043&REV_03 Detected Chip Name: 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller Chip Vender: Intel Corporation Any ideas on what i could do? R_I_O_T
Start > Control Pannel > Sound > Playback Are the settings correct, is the correct default device selected. Double click your device, is the device enabled? Are the settings of the device correct? Start > Control Pannel > Device Manager Are there any exclamation marks? If so, right click properties Is there an error message in the Device Status Box? If so, google it/post it here // Go back to vista :D Edit: * > * > * are from vista interface, might not be in the same place on XP
Nadril
Reinstall vista. Why the hell would you downgrade? what does it say when you try and install the driver.
