January 12, 200917 yr I've already been told that maging metals is a bad idea as it wastes money but I'm sitting on about 2k Bloods that I've racked up through barrows and killing monsters and I've decided to mage metals instead of waiting for them to sell. The problem is I've never been to metals as I've never gotten a task for them, so if I'm using Air Wave what's the best inventory I can bring? Other than an axe, coins, and the Blood Runes. Thanks in advance. :D
January 12, 200917 yr Well, irons and steels are weak to fire spells so I'm not sure how well you'll do with air wave. Anyway this is my gear and inventory when I'm fire waving an irons task: Armor: Ahrim's Shield: Anti-fire Staff: Air Boots: Infinity Ring: Lunar Gloves: Barrows RFD Necklace: Fury Cape: Skill (t) Inventory: The obvious coins, wc axe, runes. About 1 shark just in case and 8 anti fire pots (4), even though I only end up using about 5. So depending how long you plan to camp (2k bloods will last about 80 kills, give or take 10 or so, I'm guessing depending on how well air wave works and your mage level and bonus) bring more or fewer pots as you see fit.
January 12, 200917 yr swap that skill cape for a god cape that actually gives you a magic bonus (attack). As for the ring, wealth or mage bonus. It's up to you and your trust in ROW. January 12, 200917 yr Farseer's Helm instead of Ahrim's. (doesn't degrade, same bonuses) Farseer's Ring (+4 mage offense) instead of Lunar God Cape instead of Skill Cape (actually instead of any cape) Necklace - Fury is ok (unless you have 3rd age mage amulet :o ) Btw cast firewave Good luck getting those nice visages
