January 14, 200917 yr Hi all, thnx for checking my problem, here it is: so I'm doing the quest "While Guthix Sleeps" and I'm at the part of catching a Wild Broav. So I caught one and wanted to give it to the hunter expert but she told me I already had to many animals and I should release some, but I didn't have any with me and the ones on my bank are my pets which I don't want to release. How do I fix this? Help is greatly appreciated! Btw, for y'all who are going to do the quest: she will only give you a mushroom once! January 14, 200917 yr The broav is a Summoning pet and counts towards your Summoning pet "cap" which at your level is 8 pets. So in answer to your question: Release one of your pets and re-raise it once you're done with the broav. OR. Get 81 Summoning. ^ Blog

January 14, 200917 yr I have 10 pets on my bank account, I put 3 away and I can get the Broav? There is a cap of the number pets you can OWN. In bank or inventory or on ground. You will have to release one of them to get the broav. Prettu much you need to let a pet go, or get 80 (81?) summoning. In addition to this, the number of pets you can have increases with your Summoning level. To start with, you can have one pet, and you will be able to have another pet for every ten Summoning levels you have. For example, if you are level 37, you could have up to 4 pets. How do you have 10? Unless cats don't count towards this?
January 14, 200917 yr Cats most likely do not count as you do not need a summoning level to raise cats.
January 14, 200917 yr Author I've had most of my pets from the beginning on, maybe the rule wasn't there from the start of summoning? January 14, 200917 yr Go pick the pet you least like or the easiest one to get back. After you finish the quest, you can release the broav and start all over. I know it's difficult to part with long-time pets, but you gotta do it. :(
