January 14, 200917 yr Sort of a general question, but this is bothering me. My new mouse has the buttons that are customizable, usually to page forward and page back. But page back is right next to my thumb, meaning I close during the game more than I should. I can disable this for certain programs, though. Does anyone know the program that Runescape plays on? I know it's Java, but there's a bunch of parts of Java in the folder and I need a specific one. Still alive, still alive.
January 14, 200917 yr If you are using windows and haven't modified your PATH (env variable), you should try %systemroot%\system32\java[Caution: Executable File] And since applets are run in java console version, (as in not javaw[Caution: Executable File]), you should go to your java dir (like c:\program files\java\jre6\), folder \bin\, file java[Caution: Executable File] NOT javac[Caution: Executable File] (java compiler) NOT javaw[Caution: Executable File] (windowed mode, no console) R.I.P. oO000oO0oO00, RS2 range pure transformed to a maxed PvM char in EoC, ten years of time completely wasted.Good to be gone :)
January 14, 200917 yr Author That didn't work, I'm afraid. On a related note, I discovered a way to prevent it from having an option to use the back button. by way of opening the game in a new tab. Thanks for your help! Still alive, still alive.
