Xbox Live Wireless Connection

Featured Replies

Alright, so I recently went through some trouble with my wireless router after a windstorm on the 31st. It took a while, but Geek Squad came today and fixed it. I know that the wifi is fixed, because I can connect my laptop and my ipod touch to it and use them fine.

Here's the problem: my Xbox, which had been working with the same router won't even detect the network now. It doesn't even recognize it now. I'm not gonna go through MS support again, that was just an hour of "power cycle this, move it closer, power cycle again". So please give me some help, I'm desperate.

EDIT: Thank God I'm done! Turns out it wasn't even my Xbox's problem (coulda told that to me earlier MS -.- ). I just had to call my router company and open a couple ports.

This is my original signature. You can't touch this.
