For one, it would spoiler the While Guthix Sleeps quest for the many, many folks that can't do it yet. Two, it would affect many places on the website. And three, any player who is high enough to complete WGS can figure out that the name has changed but "the song remains the same". This is not to say your concern isn't correct - of course it is. It's just that this is how we decided to handle it.
