Where is the best place to lend it out? W2 GE? Also, what is the best rate I can get with junk for renting it out on a hourly basis (or what is the usual rent time)?

Northeast of the GE, near the tunnel location. I've loaned my SGS out for at least 20m in junk (I buy it off of friends as a favor when I don't have any of my own). There's all sorts of different times that are good or bad for loaning, you'll figure them out (I'm not doing time zone conversions :P ). You can usually exepct the following fairly quickly at good times:

 

 

 

1 hour for 40k+ trade limit

 

2 hours for 100k

 

3 hours for 150-200k (depends on the time)

 

4 hours for 300k (depends on the time)

 

5+ hours for 300-400k (again, time dependent)

Do people accept spirit shards as junk? I was looking into doing the pouch swap method for a bit of profit.

Yeah, I've done that. Shards are actually good junk, as they are typically worth close to their market price. I've done it with essentially worthless junk (granite, poisoned bolts) easily; better junk just makes for easier lending.
