I've never been much of a pker. I'm too much of a coward, and never devoted the time to learn how to properly kill.. thus always dying. #-o

So, to take a break from leveling my main account.. I want to create a new account.

I want to range..

And I want to be successful..

What stats should I get? Should I do Bounty Hunter or PVP worlds?

Any and all advice gladly welcomed.

You can start PKing at 40 range, but you won't get many kills unless your opponent is lagging or something. Stick to Pking in Pvp world till you get 50+ combat (~70 range) when you can go BH. You can try to make a range/r2h pure to increase your KO chances.

I've heard about the range/2h pure.. So is that the way to go for pvp ranging now? What's the set up?

Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem..

you should go with a range/2h pure. the trick is to lower your opponents hp until you can finish him off with your 2h. since the range may be not enough to kill someone, the 2h helps.

raise your defence to be able to wear dragonhide, and raise your attack and strength so that you can use a 2h and hit higher than your range.

raise magic to 31 for lumbride teleport for safing

at the VERY end, the stats should be 40 att, 40 def, 99 str, 99 range, 31 magic -.-

this probably isnt the best help on making a range/2h pure, but it worked for me
