When I built this computer I installed the old hard drive as a second drive because I was too lazy to back it it up. go figure. :S At that time the main drive was named F: Now I've disconnected that old c: drive, and my main drive is still named F: Can I change it to C: without reformatting? I tried through disk management, but Windows wouldn't have it. Is there a way around windows to do it? And will it cause headaches with other software?

 

 

 

The reason I need to do it is because I got a job that is requiring that all the files on my hard drive be stored on a C: drive as proof that I only have one hard drive. So should I start looking for that windows cd? or is there another way?
