So yeah, I've been re-watching FMA cause it's awesome and while I was watching I drew some of the characters on paper. But my scanner doesn't work atm so I can't show you. So instead what I've done is make a page with my tablet.

 

It's not as hard as you may think to use video as reference because in anime the characters stay relatively stationary when they talk.

 

I'll probably do cowboy bebop next, or maybe bleach.

I don't like every anime though. Like naruto I hate it.

 

I'm surprised by the amount of things that are oriented more towards older audiences in some shows, re-watching them now seems so different now that I understand more.

So true Naruto = stupid, and it seems a lot of the animes are oriented to the older audiences. Like Neon Genesis Evangelion for example, at a younger age when I 1st saw the show all I saw was the cool fight scenes and anime chicks... Yet now I see that the show is a lot about life and how you should live it, also that the person that made that show is psychotic because the last couple episodes are way deep. Just goes to show you I like that show :thumbsup:

The problem with anime is your either bad (90% of anime drawing population) and you spam DA with your drawings our your average (8%, I think you fit here) or great (2%). I think it all looks a bit generic and lame tbh.

Pretty much looks like the anime to me. Edward and his brother probably are the best drawn.

How does this affect whether or not anime is cool? You could probably say the same for people who enjoy drawing video game characters.

 

Oh well, with anime it's either you love it or you hate it so I guess there's no point arguing.
