aznhiroller
Hey, I have a quick suggestion regarding the magic calculators. When calculating the number of damaging spells needing to reach a specific level, the calculator uses the MAXIMUM amount of experience that can be earned for the spell. ex. Fire Strike: Base Exp: 11.5 Max Damage: 8 Max Exp: 19.5 The calculator uses 19.5 exp per spell for the calculation, meaning that the player will have to hit 8's every single cast to get the expected exp. Since this is impossible, it should be changed as it is misleading, causing the player to buy less spells than needed to achieve a level. Please fix this. Thanks [/bads]You get 750000gp from alching a Bandos Godsword. I know from experience.
Stev
Or show if they hit all 8s as well as showing if they hit half of the max each time. Make sense?
Speedyshel
The Magic Calculator computes the average damage dealt and uses that figure for the calculation. I can see how it is misleading when looking at the calculator, but the spells grant the base xp plus 2 times the xp per damage dealt as mentioned in the Magic Guide. To use your example: ex. Fire Strike: Base Exp: 11.5 Max Damage: 8 Max Exp: 19.5 The base is 11.5 xp and the max damage is 8 (16 xp), but the calculator uses the average of 8xp in damage to account for the variation in damage. - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
