February 9, 200917 yr I know it used to be. I'm 45 fletch now, but I need 70, then I can high alc bows Also, if I get 60 WC I could just chop them to make more. Anyone out there high alc yew strung bows a lot and have tips for me?
February 9, 200917 yr high alching yew longbows are obsolete there are other things you can alch that wont lose you much than a yew longbow would 60 wc vs yew tree you will get logs extremely slowly

February 9, 200917 yr The price of yews is too high to make yew longbows worth alching. If you cut your own yews, bought natures and spin your own bowstrings, you would still make money, but not much. If you're after exp, it might be worth getting it, but if you're looking for pure profit, don't bother.
