Smoking kills quest (solved on own)

Hi,

 

I am upto the end of smoking kills where i have to kill the banshee mistress. I get here to quartere health alright and when the insectoids start attacking i get owned. what techniques should i use for the kill? what should i wear i'd rather not lose too much. i have my whip. i am getting hit with all 3 types of combat, should i use protect range, magic or meelee. i was using protect from magic the last time because i had armour on. would it be better to wear full blue d hide (the best i can wear) and use protect from meelee and when they start ranging switch to protect from range?
