moving avatars/siggys... help?

i always thought moving signatures were of the swf. format (flash movies)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i made a kick-butt avatar on macromedia flash, and found that the avatar doesnt take it...

Gif are the only legal animations here, since you have to have flash to see .swf I do believe...I may be wrong about that, but I know that it needs to be .gif

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There should be an option to save your avvy as a gif, whereas in PS, there is a seperate option of "Save Optimized As..."

file>publish settings>check GIF, uncheck html and flash then on the gif tab click animated and on the transparency drop down menu select transparent, then press publish.
