Quitting.

I'm bumping this because it makes me feel special.

before the update, i barrowed and slayed for money now... i barrow and slay for money...

i switch between other non internet heavy mmos when i need a break from rs... my internet is realleh bad and i have no way of making it faster, lets see... in my breaks from rs i have played: diablo 2, wow (for less than a month), various browser baed games such as KoL, etc. then there's gunbound, rakion, dofus... all i can think of right now...

not true, as mercers will be selling air runes for less than 20 gp, the point of all these prices is they are slightly above market price, meaning anyone who wants a good deal on bulk will still go to the "working class" for their supplies i don't think this will effect the economy as much as you say, but its still very annoying as an update, i personally hate it, but no economical loss or gain with be noticeable IMO

then I'm not sure if I read this right, but it looks fishy to me. His downfall, but I do like his theory as a possbility though. *sigh* my PROOF, far be it for me to define a word is thus: i was a big slayer fan ages ago and killed everything from skeletons to jogres, however i never got a lesser demon task. i must have killed a tleast 500 of each monster, but the first lesser demon task i got yielded a scroll. that seemed fishy, so i thought id attempt the minigame and kill some hill giants, after 600 or so hill giants i didn't get a scroll, however, killing a skeleton on the way to vanakka got me a skeleton scroll. as you can see Ive done RESEARCH, but i don't have HARD NUMBERS, there is a difference.

oh man that quest is so annoying... took me 10-15 hours to do it, maybe more... everything except the tracks eh?

I've never done a blog before and IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m pretty sure no tip.iters know me, but I never really had they many acquaintances in Runescape and hope to make lots of friends, better late than never eh? Now, I have a sort of pet peeve with blogs that just dump loads of pictures in a hidden box, so IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m going to try to resist doing that and instead write this blog in chronological order (I wonder how long itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll last?) Starting Stats/Current Stats: (tremble at my Mediocrity! Muahahaha! oh my god, you guys just don't want to be helped, i don't know why i bother... id be killing one hundred of 10 different monsters to get a 100% accurate description, id need to kill thousands if i was doing an investigation, which i'm not. i could probably get the entire set in 1500-2000 kills, but i'm not really the killing type.

eh, wanted to bump up this thread just wanted to say i'm starting a cheese collection cuz i love cheese, got 520 right now but they're easy enough to get. if anyone has any cheese they want to get rid of i'm your man! mmm... cheese... yummeh...

well praise for saying "no offense" but please don't say i'm a plagiarizer, i figured this out by my own hand. even if it was originally on the rsof, people STILL don't know about it and it's worth someone reposting it. and its quite hard to get hard numbers on this considering i already have most of them and i'm too impatient to sit and kill thousands of monsters just to prove a point, sorry.

okay, there are far too many topics being started (in tip.it and outside) regarding challenge scroll drops. They have become a completely forgotten minigame because of the "rarity" of the scrolls. There is only one point i want to make with this thread. It is one i have known well for a long time and yet noone else seems to believe or understand CHALLENGE SCROLLS ARE NOT RARE! you ever noticed how people always say "i tried for a scroll at "n" for days and days then hilled 20 "b" and got one just like that!". Seriously, EVERYBODY says this. This isn't ridiculous luck. There are, what, 10 or so different monsters you can get challenge scrolls from, the theory is this: All players have a chance of getting a scroll drop from 1 of these 10 monsters, and no chance of one from the other monsters until the champion that they can receive is killed. At this time, the randomizer will start again and the player has a chance of getting a scroll drop from 1 of the 9 remaining monsters and no chance of one from the others. You may dismiss this theory as utter cowpats if you like, i mean sure, why would jagex not tell us this? if you genuinely want challenge scrolls, here is what i propose you do: - kill 100 of one of the champion monsters - if no scroll has dropped by then, move on to the next monster that drops a scroll - kill 100 of these new monsters, if no challenge, try a new monster keep going in this pattern and i can almost guarantee you a challenge scroll (unless you are horribly unlucky) i have done genuine research on this and i know it is correct, please do not dismiss this

Hi. Many of you guys donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know me on a personal level; my biggest claim to fame (if any) was being the author of the funny examines thread, which seems to have disappeared once again. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m just your average Runescape player, and, like your average Runescape player, I quit about 2 years ago, came back for a month, then quit again. I currently attend year 11 in a private school in Western Australia, and Runescape was taking up too much of my time and I WAS failing my exams. This was the main reason of my leave, aside from trivial reasons such as the constant fear of getting banned for my name containing something an insignificant minority might consider slightly offensive (not deliberate i swear!). I decided to only play on the summer and midterm holidays, if that. Now, I am aware quite a few people at my school play Runescape, while others despise it to the point that they will alienate anyone who comes out and says they play it. In a way, playing Runescape is like being... you know... THAT way... at my school; one in ten people are in the closet, and donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t dare tell anyone they play, some people are open about it, but we all know each other really, and converge in a little secret society when everyoneÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s back is turned. ThereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s this one guy I used to know who would bully me relentlessly at school, but then I discovered he played Runescape. From then on we were best buds in game, we did loads of stuff together, but at school he would act the same way towards me, angry, mean, etc, as if nothing ever happened, like he was a differant person altogether in the game, but I knew he didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t mean anything, so it was all good :P So, back to the part about me quitting. I have been obsessed with Runescape for a very long time to a dangerous extent, and not that IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve quit, ItÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s having some really weird effects on me. Sort of like an ongoing withdrawal symptom: I first noticed it in that faithful religion class. I was sitting in front of two guys doing an assignment on a painting, of course I didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know that. Suddenly, I heard one of them go ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åman, I really like RunescapeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

think about it, jagex can be evil sometimes. for all we know the ring of wealth could just be a red herring that promises something with no way to prove it actually does anything, and they never told us :P i, for one, think this whole ring of wealth thing is just in the mind, and even if it does anything it obviously isnt worth the trouble, so i never wear one :D

i got the full lumberjack in 2 days... finished the set a day before wildbloods were replaced with watermelons... i was so peeved... its worth it, 2.5% more xp per log and next time, please search the board, ive already made a thread about lumberjack exactly like this
