Yes thats all we need in this game is for emos to have a breeding ground i swear when i first read that i thought you said "to have a bleeding ground, lol... yes, i can think of lots of quests that construct can have an impact on, like a guy will only do yuo a favour if you fix his antique chair... or something... or make him a toy horsey :P

useless right? after being to a few parties ive realised that many people dont have parlors, we have precious little amount of rooms available, and what does parlour offer? chairs. i mean yay! great, im not badmouthing chairs, but we can sit in the dining room and throne room and they have a use! do you believe parlors are useless? do you have one? im just not sure if i should keep mine.

i realised something today... right now i have items in excess of 15 mill, and all my goals revolve around money... its sickening in so many ways, but i didnt realise it until today. about half way through my membership, i switched to low detail, as high was getting too laggy to play, for about 1 year, i have been playing rs with no music whatsoever, except that of my own mp3. about 2 weeks ago, i took the advice of someones sig on these forums and dowloaded a file with every single rs midi on it, and for 2 weeks i ignored them... today, i am fishing. the most boring skill imaginable, but i need some monkfish. i see the songs on my desktop, ad think "what the heck, lets listen to some rs" hours and hours went by and i flicked through the songs, fanfare, fishing, beyond, contest, and with every song i listened to, a memory came back... my first lobster cought, my completion of the trip past white wolf mount, killing darkwizards and finishing my first quests. each of these songs hit me in the heart, and as i hummed to the melodies, in all seriousness, they brought a tear to my eye... my point is... the commercialisation of rs, the fact that all we do now is make money, has clouded the reason we started. my advice to you is, one day, scroll through some classic songs: flute salad, newbie melody, and see if anything comes back, i dont know about you, but reliving those memories was a great experience for me. just my two cents. ~Gun~

(locked on oifficial forums, the mod who locked it's reason was total gibberish, but i decided it was best not to ask questions... is it allowed on this forum?) well, this might sound a stupid idea, but at the moment, my buddylist is very low on people, half from clan disbanding, half from all my freinds quitting, and the rest i just dont really talk to anymore... mmorpgs are made so that we can interact with others and have fun as a group. it might be just me, but i cannot do say, 10,000 alchs or 1,000 laps of agility arena without someone to talk to... well the time has come that i have absolutely noone to talk to... and it's very sad. (even with the great community of tip.it, noone really goes out of the way to add others, and world 9 helps very little) i have no idea whether other people have the same problem, so i decided to give this thread a try! it works alot like rsvp, leave your name, and a few details about yourself in your post List from most to least important: 1. time zone (absolutely most important, you can't be friends with someone on the other side of the world, the time differance would mean you would never see each other, but hey, itll be ur decision) 2. time of day you play 3. favourites: fave skill, fave activity, fave minigame, just random things that might help a person see similarities. 4. your goals and achievements currently then just about anything else you dont mind sharing (no real life, would be against the rules) leave your profile and add some people who sound a lot like you, then eventually (hopefully) others will start adding you! hopefully with this system, we can get a few more buddies to help make the game more fun for all! heres mine: name: gunshafted time zone: GMT+8 hours (equivilant to hong kong and perth, Western Australia) time of day i play: weekends whenever i can, around 4-5 hours, maybe less, from 8:00-12:00 midnight at the latest. weekdays: 4:00pm-9:00pm anywhere in that space, because of school... ^^ all times set by my time zone favourites: fave skil: i like everything really, combat love <3, woodcut love, love thieve fave game: barrows and pest control goals: 100 combat (96 atm) i really hate beggars (but who doesnt eh? :P), hate agility, more boring then farming, seriously, how i got it to level 65 is beyond me... dont really like pking that much, love to slay dagerous beasts :P go ahead and post your profile, or at least post to tell me if its a silly idea, i am really not sure on it myself. meh, being considered a tryhard is a lot better then not being considered at all :P

well, you know when you finish fremminik trials and peer the seer is still talkable? he gives you your fortune... wow, completely pointless, right? well, sometimes he will go "the *monster name* is your lucky totem this day. i talked to him and eventually i realised a pattern, this is what i got from him skeleton is lucky zombie is lucky imp is lucky ogre is lucky and i start thinking... these are the same monsters that gives you champ scrolls! (well cept ogre, but it might mean jogre) im too lazy to try it out, but maybe someone can talk to him untill he gives a monster fortune, and see if the drop rate isany better? and maybe to relieve all superstition, fight the lucky monster with the lucky weapon he mentions, and go to the lucky place he mentions and eat food the amount of times he thinks is lucky, anyone wanna try? lol.

the running myth is that world 126 is the test world for new spells etc by the mods, this way they dont have to create their own private servers. im pretty sure 126 is a jaggymod only world for testing, period...

people really think karil? this is coming from a 100 trip junkie... (with only 2 items rofl) dharok- hits 30s half health (i will never experiment again) but you awways pray so hes fine verac- too easy, but again, you need to pray i always do karil 3rd, and i usually have a superset and 2 points of prayer still i go into the crypt, drink the def pot, and then put the pray on to check if hes there, if hes not, i save the other pots and move on, if hes not, i drink the set and attack him no pray... with a def pot karil is very easy, he barely ever hits me, but i barely ever hit him aswell rofl, its prolly good to also mention that i use a whip so no, karil is quite easy for me guthans and torag are fine, though i dothink torag hits harder than guthan then comes ahrim... ahrim is a nightmare... for me, anyway. i bring FULL KARILS to barrows, and ahrim hits constant 18s and 20s through it! he takes up all my food! my raged is 70 and my mage is 72. on average i use 1 pray dose if karil, torag or guthan tunnel, 1-2 if its ahrim, 2 if its verac and 2-3 if its dharok conclusion: ahrims is hardest, and ur blind if you dont see it :-s

well, it took 300 or so kills for iron to steel, i was getting pretty impatient... i went off for the night and when i came back at least 15 people were using the room! i killed one cyclops and got a black defender... cool! went out, cam e back in... couldnt get a cyclops for 5 minutes, i was about to log when a cyclops attacked me, i kill it, mith! alright! 2 in a row! i manage to get another one after that in the same world and got an addy! steel to addy in 3 kills! well i came to the conclusion that the more crowded a room is, the more chance of a defender drop is! post thoughts...
