WoW is soooo much better than rs it isn't even funny... I played RS for nearly 2 years (or was it 3?) so I have experienced everything. I've played WoW for 6 months. Let's compare WoW to RS: -New items for every level AND *shock horror* there is actually things for people that have played for more than a 4 months! Infact, the whole game is pretty much preperation for end-game instances. I came onto RS last night to see some mates and got told that their still is no better weapon than a whip and no better armour than Torags. That is just pathetic. You've all been using the same armour and weapons for 2 years now, don't you think that needs serious seeing to? All Jagex do is throw low level crap into it and expect to keep real players - which is failing concidering that's the reason I quit in the first place. -You have to choose which class and race you want to be. Not god-mode where everyone is the best at everything and looks identical. The severe lack of customisation in this game is appauling for anyone who has played anything else. -It's about a million times bigger than RS... -Looks about a million times better than RS... -Actually has a storyline - not just some semi-blind old man who robs banks. -Draenei and Tauren! :D -Promotes team work and actually has a guild structure - not just a forum post saying "this is who is in our guild". All this to pay 6 quid extra a month? Please don't cry about WoW is crap just because your mother won't let you pay that much. Denial leads to insanity. Accounts on WoW hold all your characters, not just the one on RS so really - don't even try to compare RS character numbers with WoW ones. Also, I had heaps of f2p characters on RS so that number means nothing.

Best race to start with...? Hmmm, -if you like being OP make a Shaman -if you enjoy winning everytime in Battlegrounds, make a Horde character None of the specific races are much better than others - just a slight increase in certain aspects. Undead have a natural resistance to shadow magic (I think), fear effects and a few others while Humans have better skill with swords+maces, bonus rep rewards and a natural spirit boost. In terms of classes, some (IMO) are HIGHLY imbalanced. Mages for instance can blink (teleport a small distance away) out of stun effects while every other class can do nothing but sit and die. Priests at level 60 (I've heard) are practically unkillable. I made a human warrior and I'm starting to regret it... I wish I made a rogue -.- My advice would be make a Rogue or Mage - but TBH it relies on your preffered playing style more than anything else.

I guess that's what you get when an apparent MMORPG has 2 or 3 good weapons in it. WoW has about 10 billion good weapons and new ones for every level... If RS wants to be competitive it needs to have a complete makeover and a massive patch to bring the good weapon counter up to atleast 10... ^ Another one of the reason I quit for a while... I know 99.999% of you have never met me ingame buuuuut.... after playing for nearly 2 years I'm leaving. I'm leaving because I find that there is nothing to do in this game anymore... Nothing appeals to me and to be honest the only reason I've played the last month or so is because of my mates ingame. But, last week some mates from school persuaded me to by WoW and it's completely awesome... Especially when two of your mates in real-life have maxxed stats and the best armour sets in the game [fre st00f pl0x] \ \ This finally gave me a reason (and a way) to quit RS for a few months. I know most of my closest mates MSN addresses (sp?) so I won't be out of contact with them which is a good thing :3> :3> :3> I just hope that after 3 months out there will be some new kind of armour that's worthy of my stats. I'm sick of training combat for 12 hours+ to get a 0.000001% extra chance to hit a 5 on a level 70 - who BTW can wear the same stuff I can :-$ Keep the flames back - you'll only be flaming a bunch of letters :-w

Once I was fishing too and almost died. Lucky thing was I was skulled with Full Dragon (no chain) w/ Brassard, whip and Fury #-o Must've had about ~20hp left when I switched back to see all my mates yelling at me and trying to get my attention by spamming PM box \ :3>

Any really, I just want to see what they would roughly look like before I shell out 325k... I'd prefere to see a Guthix one though :P

I tested my newly charged Crystal bow on my friend and managed to hit 21 unpotted with 80 Ranged :D
